Safeguarding Code in Martial Arts
Atherstone Karate Club is proud to announce that we have once again been awarded the Safeguarding Code in Martial Arts. This recognition gives parents and carers peace of mind when choosing a martial arts club that is safe and suitable for children and adults in their care.
Achieving the Safeguarding Code reflects our commitment to upholding a strong duty of care to both the community and young people. It recognises Atherstone Karate Club as a provider that has not only met but continues to maintain high safeguarding standards.
The Safeguarding Code was created to help parents and carers make informed decisions when selecting a martial arts provider. It demonstrates that a club has the necessary practices, procedures, and values in place to ensure a safe and supportive training environment.
